News @ Kings Theatre

If like me all your Easter Eggs have been eaten... now is the time to fill in your diaries with our events over the Summer Season of Cheddar Arts @ The Kings Theatre. We hope you agree it is a varied selection of some great films to look forward to.

Every British Actor that is still able to walk & talk is in "Murder on the Orient Express" the bonus of Johnny Depp & that extraordinary moustache clinging to Kenneth Branaghs top lip!

"Paddington 2" is just wonderful...bring your own Teddies with you, they can sit down in the front so they can see better! Hugh Grant steals the show!

The touching true love story of "Film Stars don't Die in Liverpool" is a gem with excellent performances by Annette Bening & Jamie Bell.

Then the Oscar winning "Darkest Hour" with Gary Oldman needs no more accolades. A stunning film.

Our Live Event is going to be a special one with nearly 100 voices from Somerset joined "ALL TOGETHER NOW" for the first time... led & conducted by the Fabulous Kate Lynch who works tirelessly leading Cheddar Valley Voices to Sing...Sing...Sing! Special Guests the Somerset Youth Show Choir will have you on your feet clapping with their energy & joy of performing. This event will be a sell-out I know. So if you want to come book those seats as soon as you can.

With some better weather promised after such a wet Spring we know you will be longing to get outdoors either in the countryside or your gardens. But we hope to see you soon during the Summer Term. Gill Scard
