"Animal Family and Me"

Cheddar Arts is delighted to welcome back Gordon Buchanan the highly acclaimed television wildlife cameraman & presenter of the popular "e;Animal Family and Me" series to share his incredible experiences with some of the World’s most fearsome & majestic animals. Animal Families and Me promises a unique opportunity to hear personal recollections of his globetrotting travels, as Gordon delves into his world of weird, wild and wonderful wildlife all illustrated with his own film footage and photography.

With a reputation for relishing dangerous and tough assignments, his tales of challenging expeditions make for a thrilling evening . There will be an opportunity in the second half to ask Gordon questions about his career.

"Into the Breach"

Once again Cheddar Arts is excited to be bringing you another top quality Live Event to close the Season.

Actor & Writer Mark Carey trained at The Royal Central School & was a member of The National Theatre Company working with Trevor Nunn. You may recognise him from his many TV appearances including Widows, Doc Martin & Morse.

His acclaimed One Man Show is set in a South West Village during the Second World War.

George Crocker is keen to liven up is dull life so he decides to join the Village Drama Club, hoping to play the Dame in the Christmas Pantomime. But his world turns upside down when the Director has higher aspirations.

Mark plays 17 different characters during the play… many of which you’ll "recognise" if you’ve ever lived in a small community.
