The twelve head teachers of the Cheddar Valley Schools
Education in Cheddar Valley is provided within nine First Schools (for age 4+ to 9), two Middle Schools (age 9 to 13) and the Upper School (age 13 to 18+). There is also a nursery unit based at Axbridge School for children 3+ to 4+. The Schools are working together to create a consistent educational experience for your children through to eighteen and beyond.
'Working together for your children' is the motto of The Cheddar Valley Group of Schools. We are a community of schools pledged to work together to provide success for all! There is a large number of informal contacts, as well as a pattern of structured meetings to ensure continuity and progression in the curriculum and co-ordination in pastoral care. We see education as a continuous process, from nursery provision to post-16. We also strive to ensure the best contacts with other schools sending us pupils.
