7th March, 2017 by Jude Owens

Mr Gavin Ball has been appointed to the post of Executive Headteacher to lead The Kings of Wessex Academy and the Wessex Learning Trust from 1 September 2017 following interviews last week.

Mr Ball is an experienced Headteacher who has been Principal of Frome College since September 2012. On behalf of the Wessex Learning Trust Board of Directors, the Chair, Mr Brian Kirkup said:

"We very much look forward to welcoming Mr Ball to The Kings of Wessex Academy and our Multi Academy Trust and to working with him to take the Trust forward to its next stage in striving to provide the best education for the young people in the Cheddar Valley."
