Elliot Davies (1995 - 2009)
8th Jan, 2009, by Jude Owens
The Kings of Wessex School was deeply shocked to learn yesterday (7/1/09) of the tragic death of Elliot Davies, a Year 9 student.

Elliot was waiting for the school bus close to his home on the Blakeway, near Wedmore, when he was hit by a car. He was subsequently airlifted to Royal United Hospital Bath, where he was attended to by the medical team. But he sadly died later that morning.
Elliot joined Kings in September 2008, from Hugh Sexey's Middle School in Blackford, Wedmore. He was a lovely boy, who was kind, friendly and polite. He was well respected by his peers, and staff alike. Elliot was enthusiastic about school and life and always gave his best. He was particularly keen on football.
The school held an assembly yesterday afternoon with his year group, where prayers were said for Elliot and his family. The school is providing support and comfort for those students who are most affected by his tragic loss.
The school's thoughts and prayers are with Elliot's Mum and older brother Liam, and the rest of his family at this sad and tragic time.
Elliot will be greatly missed by everyone at The Kings of Wessex School.
