Facebook tributes for Elliot

9th Jan, 2009, The Weston Mercury

HEARTFELT tributes have been left for Wedmore teenager Elliot Davies who died yesterday (Wed).

The messages written on social networking site Facebook are from friends and family of the 13-year-old, who collided with a Citroen Saxo while waiting for a school bus at 8am.

He was airlifted to Bath's Royal United Hospital but later died from his injuries.

One of the messages left is from Elliot's brother Liam who wrote: "We are completely gutted, as expected, and are now just waiting for the few answers that we can get.

"Just slowly coming to terms with the fact we are not going to know some things.

"I'm really very honoured to call Elliot my brother."

Another message reads: "I will miss him, he was always so happy and full of fun.

"I will always remember the good times."

The most recent note says: "Elliot always brought a smile to peoples' faces.

"I know he will be teaching all his new friends in heaven his favourite wrestling stances.

"My heart goes out to all his friends and family."
