Important message regarding A2, AS and GCSE exams taking place from Monday 11th January 2010.

Please note that public examinations at The Kings of Wessex School will take place as previously published to participating students via their individual timetables. Please check this website for final confirmation of exam arrangements on the morning of Monday 11th January 2010.

If a candidate is unable to travel to school to sit an exam because of extreme weather conditions please contact Mrs Winter (Exams Administrator) on 01934-745367 or Mr White (Assistant Exams Officer) on 01934-745365 from 8.30am (on the morning of the exam) to report the absence. Please note that candidates who are unable to sit an exam in this January session will be re-entered to sit the exam in the summer (unless the exam is a legacy GCE A2 unit, in which case candidates must seek advice from the staff above). Please note that exam board regulations do not allow individual schools to make any other rearrangements regarding the scheduling of exams. We therefore advise students to make every effort to attend their exams as published, provided that they can travel safely.
