The Mentor Programme
All Year 11s are assigned a Mentor who will meet with them 6 times between September of Year 11 and the beginning of their examinations.
The Mentor will have access to current information on the student’s progress including completion of coursework. The Mentor will assist
the student in prioritising and organising their work. Where required, they will book students onto Mentoring Plus Sessions in subjects where they need
extra help.
The Mentoring Plus Sessions are run throughout the term-time year until June and are weekly, either taking place at lunchtime or after school.
If a student is booked into an after school session, a letter is sent home to their parents.
