Parents
The active involvement of parents in their child's education is crucial to the child's success, and we are keen to work with
parents and ask that they support the school in its endeavours. In each year there is at least one Parents' Evening when subject staff are available to talk
about your child's progress. Arrangements can be made at other times to meet their tutor, year leader or other teachers if problems arise. Please do not
hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns about your child's education. If there are problems with your son or
daughter at home we would also like to know as soon as possible. We are always pleased to see parents by appointment and all tutors
have a school email address that parents can use to communicate any concerns or questions they might have.
PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA)
All parents are automatically members of the PTA. The PTA supports the school through its Enrichment Fund, provides an important forum for discussion of
educational issues and helps at school functions. PTA funds are raised by an annual voluntary donation
of £10 per family. Meetings are held half termly and all parents are welcome to attend. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 21st February at 6.30pm in the
Conference Room.
